Norway is hosting “Universal Design 2012 Oslo Public Space: Inspire, Challenge, and Empower”. The main focus of the conference is People in Public Space, which is divided into three main topics, one for each day of the conference: Planning for the Diversity of Tomorrow, Good Practice – the interplay of regulations, research and practice and Added Value – the benefits of mainstreaming universal design Addressed topics: Universal design in planning, legislation, politics, education, buildings, outdoor areas, information and communications technologies (ICT), and public transport. Abstract submission closes October 31st 2011!
